There are more supportive ring slings out there that are comfy for heavy babies.  Plus, when he gets old enough to sit on your hip, ring slings are so convenient and comfy.  I would definitely try putting Gil on your back with the Babyhawk wrapped around your waist, and then do a Lexi twist and tie it around your waist again.  I could wear 29 pound AK like that for a long time :)</description>
