33 Weeks Pregnant!
I can’t believe I could have a baby in 4 weeks. That’s mildly terrifying!
I had my 32 week appointment last week and everything is wonderful - total of 24 lbs weight gain, BP was 112/68, fundal height measuring 33 wks, baby head down with it’s back on the right side. We talked about where I was planning to labour and my midwife gave me the a-okay for us to labour on the main floor - YAY! I was worried we’d have to change our entire second floor to accommodating the birth tub since that’s where the bathroom is and they wanted us on the same floor as the bathroom last time. This time, they don’t mind making me walk upstairs to pee
I’m feeling pretty good - definitely starting to really *feel* pregnant now - waddling a lot more, getting some back pain and morning hip pain is becoming a daily occurrence. I really feel like I shouldn’t complain though - I was having morning hip pain in my early second trimester last time! I mostly feel like my third trimester is one, long Braxton-Hicks contraction - I’m having lots and lots of them! It’s also getting really hard to snuggle with Gwen and carry her around, which makes me really sad - she’s still so little. But, I’m trying to cuddle her lots and don’t often refuse to pick her up - even if I pick her up and put her down shortly thereafter.
These are pictures from 32 weeks:
And these are my 33 week pictures:
And because it’s fun to compare, here’s my 33 week picture from Gwen:
Hmmm …. not very different, although I still think I’m a bit bigger this time - really, I hope so. The baby books all say that right now our little one is around 4.5 lbs … Gwen was 6 lbs at 40 weeks, so I’m likely to be quite a bit bigger this time!
I’m looking forward to meeting this little one who loves to kick and stretch and kick and kick
p.s. I hate uploading pics into wordpress. Ugh.
