Even with the plugins, the Wordpress blog is especially prone to spam. The blogger blog rarely gets spam, but your limited in what you can do with a Blogger blog as well. It says: Akismet has caught 149,229 spam for you since you first installed it. (a year ago?) It currently has caught 490 in the last 15 days.
