I'll have to get hubby to take a series of pics of me getting her on my back - much easier to describe in pics than in words!

I just found out where Andrew put Rhys' placenta. That explains why that portion of the garden is so, um, rich looking. In my fresh post pardum state after I had Rhys I woke up in a sudden start about a week after he was born. I frantically asked Andrew if he had forgotten about the placenta in the bag in the garage. I had visions of this nasty green thing stinking up the garage. He had taken care of it.

Tell me, how do you get Gwen in the back carry? I always had trouble with that. I would end up with Nadia on my head and her giggling uncontrollably. It did not work.

Tammy - done and done! :)

Melodie - I totally meant to plant it under the tree going under our kitchen window so I could remember it often. Alas, it will stay in the creepy ice cream container :) Rain barrels are GREAT!

I planted a cherry tree a couple years ago and forgot about my daughter's placenta too. Ack! Now I have two in my freezer with "Mel's Placenta - DO NOT EAT!" written on the plastic freezer bags they are in.
Love your rain barrles. I have always wanted one too. One day I will learn how to make my own as well.
