Baby, it’s cold inside.
My marshmallow baby is currently wearing: a onesie, a pair of socks, a sleeper, and a matching sweatsuit.
Why?
Because it’s 14 degrees celcius (that’s 57 fahrenheit) in my house right now.
People, it’s really, really cold.
Thankfully, we can go over to the other side of the house (yay, community!), but we’re not so excited about the possibility of needing a new boiler. Our current one is literally as old as the hills and is asbestos-covered, so the asbestos removal would be around $5000, and a new boiler would be the same. So, if it’s the boiler, we’re looking at about $10 000.

Oh no! How awful!
On another note, I wanted to comment back to your comment in my blog re: the video of Gwen’s mobility. If you notice the dates on the video clips … she went from ‘working really hard but not quite moving yet’ to ‘climbing the freakin’ STAIRS’ in ONLY ONE MONTH. So yes, your Gwen will likely be moving through those stages pretty fast too!
(Of course, if you keep layering her up, she’ll be too roly-poly to move, which could have its advantages!)
Hope all is well and that you stay warm and keep smiling!

Is your boiler fixed yet Kim?

Yes, the boiler is fixed! It was only a couple hundred to fix it - parts and labour. Not as bad as it could have been, thankfully!!
Laura, the thought of her being on the move so soon is TERRIFYING!

That’s great Kim. I was ready to offer our back apartment to you until things got fixed, but not much room in there for three of you.

Aw, Gina, you’re too sweet!! Thankfully, we’ve got the other half of the house if we need to crash somewhere
