Her name was going to be Eleanor but my hubby and I couldn't decide on a short form of it that we both liked and I wasn't sold on calling her "Eleanor" all the time. So a week before we had her (didn't know what we were having), my hubby came up with Gwen - I loved it because it's uncommon and oh so classic and feminine. We didn't decide on Gwendolyn until after the birth - hubby let me pick between Gwendolyn and Gwyneth :) She’s Gwendolyn, too!
